Bicentennial Park - Riverside Restoration12/09/2026
Activities
Come volunteer with Green Tukwila along the Green River and help restore our local natural areas! We’ll be removing invasive ivy that harms native trees and forest habitat. This is a great opportunity to spend time outside, meet others in the community, and make a direct impact on the health of our urban forest. No prior experience is needed — staff will provide tools, training, and support for all volunteers.

What to Bring
Dress for the weather, wear closed-toe shoes, and cover your legs and arms; blackberries can be very scratchy. Bring a full water bottle and, if you have them, tough gardening gloves.
