Bicentennial Park - Riverside Restoration10/14/2026

Activities

Join Green Tukwila for a hands-on volunteer restoration event along the Green River! Help remove invasive ivy and restore habitat for native plants, wildlife, and healthier forests. No experience is needed — tools, gloves, and guidance will be provided. Come make a difference, enjoy time outdoors, and help care for our local environment one vine at a time. Families and new volunteers are welcome!

What to Bring

Dress for the weather, wear closed-toe shoes, and cover your legs and arms; blackberries can be very scratchy. Bring a full water bottle and, if you have them, tough gardening gloves.

Where to Meet

We will meet in Bicentennial Park and walk to the site, which is located just south of the park, under the bridge, and follow the Green River Trail South.
