Riverton Park - Restoration at Riverton01/11/2023

Activities

Join local neighbor& Forest Steward Debbie for an afternoon impacting the environment, by planting young native understory plants. Riverton Park’s large trees are threatened by invasive English ivy and Himalayan blackberry. These large trees are essential habitats for large raptors and wildlife. We aim to reestablish a healthy urban forest to border the community park. This is an example of how Tukwila can support urban wildlife within the park’s systems.
