Riverton Park - Planting at Riverton Park10/14/2025

Activities
Native trees and plants are in!
Join local neighbor and Forest Steward Debbie for an afternoon of environmental impact. Learn how to plant and mulch a forest that will provide shade, clean air, and be a habitat for wildlife.
We aim to reestablish a healthy urban forest bordering the community park. This is an example of how Tukwila can support urban wildlife within the park’s systems.
All tools, materials, and training will be provided at the start of the work party.
Restrooms are on-site May-October. Alternatively, you can use the restroom at the Tukwila Community Center, located just a short drive down the street.
