Tukwila Community Center - Bats, Bats, Bats06/11/2025

Activities
BATS aka “SKY PUPPIES” (come to the event to learn why!) are our amazing nighttime neighbors. The Woodland Park Zoo and Bats Northwest will lead this lively workshop where you’ll learn about our local bat species, discover fun facts, and find your BFF (Bat Friend Forever!) through a fun, fast-paced, speed dating model. Not only will you learn about bats, but you will also find ways to make a difference in the lives of these magnificent mammals. No live bats will be present at this event.
We want Bat Stewards:
Are you interested in taking it to the next level? We want Bat Stewards, folks who report bat sightings over the summer. If you are interested in community science and supporting bats, this is an easy way to get data to the science community. We will talk more at the event!
