SUMMARY: Event Forterra Friday - Blackberry Blast
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Fall into restoration with us! We’re excited to invite you to volunteer at Duwamish Hill Preserve, a vibrant Tukwila park that provides critical wildlife habitat and walking trails in the heart of an industrial corridor.

Native plants don’t just look good—they do good. They support wildlife, improve air and water quality, and help create more resilient ecosystems in our urban environments. We'll restore essential habitat by removing Himalayan blackberry—an aggressive invasive species that threatens the health of our native trees, shrubs, and groundcover.

We’ll kick things off with a walk through the preserve and have restoration professionals on hand to share their knowledge and answer your questions about native plants, the Green Tukwila Partnership, and Forterra’s long-term stewardship of this special place.
