Overtime litter breaks down, releasing chemicals into the land and water, in turn our environment becomes toxic.  You can make a difference and be part of the solution, join Green Tukwila staff for a Walk & Talk, Litter Clean Up on the river or local park and learn about microplastics, native plants, the watershed and things you can do at home to protect natural areas and ensure a healthy future for all!  

Walk & Talk with Green Tukwila Staff, learn about the river, wildlife and native plants while picking up plastics and trash. Every piece of litter we can get is a win! The Tukwila Community Center sits on a bend of the Duwamish River, we will be walking on a flat paved trail.
